Great Day on Friday, November 20th

Starting very early in the morning Magic 106.1 broadcast from College Heights. Students wore pink clothes, pink hair extensions and painted their nails pink to demonstrate that they would stand up to bullies. The spirit was high and the Guelph Tribune was here to take pictures and interview students. We will be creating a permanent pink wave of the hands of our students we created on this inspiring day. Check it out the next time you are in the cafeteria.

Later in the morning we were entertained and challenged by our Special Guest Jim Jordan. He blended magic with a multi media presentation. The message of respect and responsibility was loud and clear.

Reports also went home this week. Please read the newsletter for information on all of the exciting events happening at the school. School Council had record attendance this week too. Come out and join us at our next meeting January 21st 2010 at 6:30 pm in the library.

Sad news at the end of this week as we will be saying good bye to Ms. Ambachtsheer after her final day on Monday. We wish her luck in her new position across the parking lot at that other school. We will be hiring a new math teacher over the course of the next week.

Please enjoy the next 4 weeks as we wind into the Christmas vacation and don't hesitate to call with any questions as we go through the course selection process through out the month of December.
